Welcome to Hersden Village Primary School

We take our responsibility to safeguard our pupils - your children - while they are on our site very seriously. Therefore, please remember that if you come to the school, it is essential that, as with all other visitors, you report to reception so that you can be signed in and accompanied by school staff should you need to visit another part of the building. This also protects you should there be an emergency, such as fire.

I am delighted to share with you the latest Ofsted Inspection Report.

Ofsted has judged our school as GOOD overall,with:

Quality of teaching -GOOD

Behaviour and safety -GOOD

Leadership and management- GOOD

In a climate where many schools are being downgraded by Ofsted because of the more demanding framework for inspection , the achievement of Hersden Primary School is even more remarkable.

 Our vision is to make the Federation of Sturry CE Primary and Hersden Village Primary Schools outstanding. To do this we will build highly professional and dynamic teams across the Federation.
